The remodel of a 90's apartment consisted in the reinterpretation of open concepts. By opening the kitchen towards the living room, it catches the natural light entering from the terrace. The materials chosen follows the same concept to unify the spaces by using the same pavement in all the main areas: kitchen, hallway, living-room and terrace. At the same time, the apartment had very old installations that were in bad shape that the remodel had to incorporate. The kitchen was the main focus of the project: new counters and cabinets were projected. The colours used were chosen to give a warm and modern feel that contrasted with the white on the walls that give more luminosity and cleanliness.
